If an update fails to download or downloads, but fails to install, it's a good idea to perform similar steps as when trying to connect to Mudita Center.
Update Fails?
Start by trying the following steps:
Disconnect the device from the computer
Restart the device
Reconnect the device to the computer
Unlock the screen if connecting the Pure
If this doesn't help and your device is still not recognized, you can also try the following:
Restart Mudita Center and/or restart your computer
Perform a factory reset of your Pure or Harmony. Please note that this step would delete all user data and settings from the device
Inspect the USB ports and cable for damage or dirt, clean if needed
Make sure the cable is fully inserted on both sides
Use a different USB-C cable
Reinstall Mudita Center
Connect to Mudita Center on another computer (if one is available). If possible, try a machine with a different operating system
Restart Mudita Center and/or restart your computer
