How to Send SMS Messages to a New Number?

Sending an SMS to a new number on your Kompakt is simple and only takes a few steps. You can start a conversation even if the number is not saved in your contacts

1. Open the SMS app.
2. Tap the Plus icon to start a new message.
3. Enter the phone number manually.
4. Tap Send to: [phone number] to confirm the recipient.
5. Type your message in the text field.
6. Tap the Send icon to send your SMS.
   
   

If the keyboard does not appear, tap the blinking cursor to activate it.
