The Mudita Bell and Bell 2 have a smooth flowing mechanism that doesn't tick like most conventional clocks. However, these clocks are not not completely silent, since they are still based on an analog, mechanical design.
Flowing Mechanism
The Bell and Bell 2 don't tick like most conventional clocks, but they do still have a mechanism with spinning cogs, which produces a slight, constant sound.
The mechanism in the Bell and Bell 2 will also make a faint clicking sound when the alarm triggers or whenever the hour hand intersects with the alarm hand. This happens even with the alarm turned off.
