Does the Mudita Moment Have a Battery?

The Mudita Moment is an automatic watch and as such, does not use a battery.

Runs On Mechanical Energy

Watches equipped with automatic movement don't need to have batteries or any other electrical components. Being such a watch, the Mudita Moment has a self-winding mechanism that runs purely on mechanical energy. Powered by the movements of the wearer's hand, the Moment never runs out of energy if it is being worn.

The power reserve itself lasts for 42 hours, and if the watch is not worn and runs out of it, it can be wound up manually using the stem.

Long Years of Susatinable Use

When treated with care and maintained regularly, an automatic watch can last a lifetime. Regular quartz watches need to have their batteries replaced approximately once every 2 years. With the Mudita Moment, you will never need to throw away another watch battery.
