How to Wind the Mudita Element Watch?

The Mudita Element has an automatic, self-winding movement which will keep running on its own if the watch is worn regularly. Here is what you need to know on how to keep its mechanism going:

Self-Winding Movement

The Mudita Element watch is equipped with a Swiss Sellita SW300-1 automatic movement, which is wound by the movement of a rotor while the watch is in use. Just a few minutes of wearing the watch is enough to power the mechanism.

When out of power, the mechanism should be started up manually by turning the crown a few times (as described below).

Power Reserve

The Element has a 56-hour power reserve. This means that the watch can run for up to 56 hours when it's not used after being fully wound. This time can be extended by wearing the watch or winding the movement manually.

Winding the Mainspring Manually

If your watch is new or it ran out of power due to not being worn, you will need to start its mechanism by winding it manually. Once it starts, you can power the watch simply by wearing it.

To hand-wind your Mudita Element, please make sure first that the crown is in position "0" (as shown in the image below). Twist the crown clockwise in this position and do approximately 15-20 full rotations to wind the mechanism.
