Why is the Dhamma Automatic limited to 108 pieces?

Updated 5 Nov 2026
Short answerOnly 108 pieces were made, because 108 is an important number in Buddhist traditions. For example, a mala, the string of beads used in Buddhism to count repetitions during meditation, has that many beads. Each piece has its own number.

How the numbering works

The case back is engraved with the piece number (from 001/108 to 108/108) and the inscription “Buddha Dhamma Sangha”, the Three Jewels of Buddhism: the Buddha, his teaching and the community of practitioners.

Certificate

In the box you will find a Swiss Made certificate signed by the founder of Mudita. Keep it together with your proof of purchase.

The edition will not be reissued or repeated in the same form.
