Why 1.6.1 and not 1.6.0?
Version 1.6.0 was first released to a small group of users. After bugs were reported, we paused its rollout to fix them. Version 1.6.1 is the same 1.6 update, with the same new features, just without the bugs we found. It was version 1.6.1 that reached all Kompakt users.
If your phone is on version 1.6.0, please update it to 1.6.1.
Key fixes in 1.6.1 compared to 1.6.0
- Fixed missed call counter in the Phone app. After updating to 1.6.0, the app icon could show an incorrect number of missed calls that didn't clear even after viewing them. The app no longer counts old calls as missed, and the notification badge now resets correctly.
- Consistent missed call count. The lock screen and the home screen now show the same number.
- Easier way to turn off Offline+. You no longer need to enter your SIM PIN every time you turn Offline+ off. Your phone will only ask for the PIN when you turn off Offline+ right after restarting your Kompakt.
