Technical Specifications and Operating Standards: Bell & Bell 2

The following parameters define the standard operating tolerances for the Bell and Bell 2 models. Performance within these ranges is considered normal and consistent with the manufacturer's specifications:

  • Timekeeping Accuracy: The mechanical movement may gain or lose up to one minute per month.

  • Alarm Precision: The alarm activation time may vary by up to +/- 5 minutes from the set time.

  • Hand Alignment: Minor deviations in the alignment of the hour and minute hands are within standard tolerances. This includes instances where the hands may not overlap perfectly at 12:00, or where the hour hand appears slightly offset from the index (e.g., at 12:05).

  • Operating Orientation: To ensure reliable performance, the device must be operated in a vertical position. The manufacturer does not guarantee proper functionality if the unit is used in any other orientation; there is no tolerance for deviation from the recommended vertical placement.
