Mudita Center

Mudita Center is a free desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux. It lets you back up, update and manage Mudita Kompakt and Mudita Harmony over a USB-C cable, with no account needed.

Updating Mudita Center is possible directly within the application.

Download Mudita Center 4.0.0 from mudita.com for Windows 10 or newer, macOS (native on M-series) or Linux (not ARM). Center 4.0 no longer supports Mudita Pure: Pure owners can ask support for the legacy version 3.2.1.

Open Mudita Center on your computer and connect Kompakt with a USB-C cable. Kompakt then appears under Your Kompakt.

You can copy photos, music and e-books to Kompakt from your computer. The three guides below cover each file type.

You can delete contacts from your Kompakt in Mudita Center, under Your Kompakt and Contacts.

Mudita Center 4.0 (April 2026) no longer supports Mudita Pure. Pure owners can get the legacy Center 3.2.1 from support, mainly to move data from Pure to Kompakt.

The Mudita Pure and Mudita Harmony can connect to a computer running Mudita Center through a USB-C cable connection.

You can update your Mudita Pure or Harmony directly from the default screen that appears when you connect your device to Mudita Center.

If an update fails to download or downloads, but fails to install, it's a good idea to perform similar steps as when trying to connect to Mudita Center.

The Mudita Pure has a contact list (phone book) where you can store phone numbers.

Mudita Center allows users to create password-protected backup files that they can use to restore their data if they factory-reset their phone or switch to another Pure.

Mudita Center can be used to manage the SMS messages on your Pure. This includes viewing, sending, and deleting messages.

Your Pure's serial number should be visible in two places in Mudita Center, including the screen that appears after you connect the phone.
