How To Use Wi-Fi and Create a Hotspot on Mudita Kompakt

How to connect to Wi-Fi

1. Press the Control Center button

2. Tap Settings icon

3. Tap Network and Internet

4. Tap Wi-Fi

5. Select the Wi-Fi network you want to join 

6. Enter the Wi-Fi network password

7. Tap Connect 

How to share Wi-Fi password

1. Press the Control Center button

2. Tap Settings icon

3. Tap Network and Internet

4. Tap Wi-Fi

5. Select the Wi-Fi network you are connected to 

6. Tap Share

7. Touch the power button to scan your fingerprint or tap USE PIN > Enter PIN

8. Either scan the QR code with the other device, or copy the Wi-Fi passcode manually

How to create a hotspot

Hotspots allow other devices to use Kompakt’s Wi-Fi or data when they are tethered.

To create a hotspot:

1. Press the Control Center button

2. Tap Settings icon

3. Tap Network and Internet

4. Tap Hotspot and Tethering

5. Tap Wi-Fi Hotspot

6. You can edit the name, password* and security settings for the hotspot

7. To turn on the hotspot Tap the Toggle Switch near the top of the screen 

*The password must be 8 or more characters long

You can also turn the hotspot on and off from the Control Center:


1. Press the Control Center button

2. Tap Hotspot icon which is above the Airplane icon
