The North American Kompakt is better optimized to work with US and Canadian carriers, while the global version should do better in other countries around the world.

Which Version to Choose?

For North American users, we recommend the Mudita Kompakt version optimized for that region. It should provide a better user experience than the global version due to improved network performance in many areas across the USA and Canada.

For everyone else, the global Mudita Kompakt will be a more optimal choice. It should better match various network bands used in many countries around the world.

The global Mudita Kompakt is also recommended for people who travel frequently, including those who usually live in the USA or Canada.

The best way to verify if either version of the Kompakt will work with your carrier is to compare the network bands that the carrier uses in your area with the ones supported by the phone. The phone should be able to connect as long as at there are at least some matching bands.
